Corona Quacks: Part 2 Is Focused On The "Stealing" -Anas

Speaking on Cities TV's The Point Of View after his first part of the "Corona Quacks and Thieves" which was aired  showing doctors selling Coronavirus cures which have not even been approved by the Food And Drugs Authority ,he noted that there were more rotten beefs he had uncovered during his latest investigative work.

The first part exposed some allegedly fraudulent herbalists who were peddling fake Coronavirus cure. He looked into the Abdellah Herbal Clinic and the COA FS Herbal Centre.

Some persons in the video such as the "Abdellah Brothers" and some few others were busted by the police after the video was released.

"These social intervention things that the President took to give to the people of Chorkor and other places,I got a call from my source that foods were ready to be sold"... he said.

The government of Ghana had distributed goods to vulnerable persons ,most notable Kayayes, during the partial lockdown on Accra and some other parts of the country. But there were these guys who brought out foods that the president has given out to be shared being sold; bags of rice, eggs etc. Anas said, the said people works from the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA).

According to him, all these happenings "tells  you that all of us need to be quite alert ".

" We are getting to elections and some people think you have to drop the name of that big politician. That is fine for their thoughts, but look, in journalism, nothing is small. It is more about impact, how many people does this affect?" he asked with disappointment in people who were expecting a much more damning exposé.

  1. Why should he say he's disappointed?

  2. Can't he see he's losing the trust of Ghanaians?
