Covid-19: Accra Technical University reports covid-19 cases

The director for public affairs of the Accra Technical University issued a statement to the Accra technical university community, stating that, there have been some reported cases on the campus.

As of Monday, 22nd June 2020 at 11:40 am, a member of the university community (national service personnel) was reportedly tested positive for the Coronavirus.

The personnel reported to a medical facility to be tested after experiencing some symptoms of fever, runny nose, and headache.

After the test, the results showed that she had tested positive for the virus, which is on 21st June 2020.

"This said person is currently in isolation and responding well to treatment"

6 (six) colleagues who cane into contact with this covid-19 patient have been counseled and reassured, and their samples were taken to the Laboratory for tests .......................
