Covid-19: Cases in Africa now 347,836 with 166,074 recoveries and 9,070 deaths

With a number of African countries imposing a range of preventive measures to curb the spread of the Coronavirus, there are more than 340,000 confirmed cases of this virus across Africa.

According to the latest data by the John Hopkins University and African Centre for Disease Control on Covid-19 in Africa ,the breakdown remains fluid as countries confirm cases all the time. As at May 13, every African country had recorded an infection the last being Lesotho.
