Prez.Akuffo Addo Apologises to Prez.Muhammadu Buhari

Ghana's President His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwar Akuffo-Addo had apologised officially to the President of Nigeria His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari over the demolition of a building at the residence of the Nigerian High Commissioner in Accra.

Tensions has preceded this action as some Nigerians have heavily criticized Ghana over the act which can allegedly spark a bitter diplomatic row.

A building nearing completion on the premises of High Commissioner was razed down with a bulldozer by some armed men on June 19.

After the incident, a cross-section of Nigerians including the House of Representatives Committee in Foreign Affairs, National Association action and amid pockets of protests around the said facility.

In a latest twist, a statement released by the Nigerian President H. E. Muhammadu Buhari revealed that Prez. Akuffo Addo ,over a telephone conversation, apologised for the incident.
