Mac Manu,Carlos Ahenkorah In ICU After Testing Positive For Covid-19

The campaign manager of the New Patriotic Party for the 2020 general elections, Peter Mac Manu ,and the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Carlos Ahenkora have been admitted at the Intensive Care Unit of the Korle Bu  Teaching hospital after being tested positive for the Coronavirus disease. 

NeWsMaStEr's sources proves that a number of government officials have tested positive for the Coronavirus disease and are currently receiving treatment at various health facilities. 

This result reflects on the death of the New Patriotic Party's former General Secretary,Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie ,popularly known as Sir John. 

It was earlier reported by NeWsMaStEr that Sir John died yesterday, July 1,2020,after testing positive for the disease. 

A number of government appointees have been battling with the Coronavirus disease. 

Ghana's health minister,Hon. Kwaku Agyemang Manu contracted the virus about three weeks ago and received treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre,Accra. 

The CEO of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA),Dr. Lydia Dsane-Selby,also tested positive within the same period. 

Mayor of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, K. K. Sam also contracted the Coronavirus disease, however passed on. 

The MCE died on Friday, June 12,2020 ,while receiving treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre where he was earlier rushed to after he started showing symptoms of the virus.
