A 26-year-old woman has reportedly stabbed her boyfriend to death for cheating on her at Esiama,a community near Nkroful in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region of Ghana.
According to the assembly member of the area,a misunderstanding ensued between the lovers after the suspect accused the deceased of cheating on her by visiting another lady in the same community.
The suspect's claims led to a heated argument between the two lovers through which the deceased allegedly started beating the suspect.

It was during their fight that the suspect in self-defense took a knife and stabbed the deceased.
"I received a call around 9:45 am that they were fighting but when I got here,the girl had stabbed the boyfriend with knife. So I quickly rushed him to the hospital but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead some few minutes later," the assemblyman recounted.
The deceased, Fred Kojo Nyame was stabbed in the chest ,neck,arms,and forehead.
The girl is currently in police custody awaiting to be arraigned.
