TickTok ,Over 50 Chinese Apps Banned In India

The Indian government has ordered that over 50 Chinese apps be banned in India. This includes TikTok,the video sharing app which has literally taken over the world and most people seem to love it.

In India, TikTok along with the other banned Chinese apps are creating problems concerning the authorized use of data.

India's Ministry of data Technology decided to ban these apps because they are engaged in activities that could harm the "sovereignty and integrity of India, security of state, and public order".

" Chinese tech company ByteDance owns TikTok. The famous app allows users to make short videos and lip-sync to voices or music.

The Indian government in May,banned downloads of the app for 2 weeks, after a court ruled that the app could expose children to graphic contents and sexual predators. This ruling was reversed after an appeal by TikTok.

Other known Chinese Applications such as WeChat, Weibo, SHAREit, UC Browser, Likee etc. were also banned by the Indian Government.
