Breaking News : EC Declares Nana Akufo-Addo And NPP As Winners Of The 2020 Presidential Elections

The Electoral Commissioner,after several hours of compilation of 2020 General election results from 275 constituencies in the country, was ready to declare the winner of the 2020 General Elections at the Electoral Commission Headquarters in Accra. 

At the end of the Polls Nana Addo of New Patriotic Party 6,730,413 being 51.591% John Mahama of National Democratic Congress 6,214,889 being 47.366%. 

The Electoral Commission through the head of the Commission, Miss Jean Mensah expressed their honored gratitude to Ghanaians for waiting patiently for the commission, and however commended the commission for a smooth electoral process."For the first time in history, all out processes were lead bare to the electorates",she said. 

The Results for The 12 Political Parties are as follows

1. Nana Akufo-Addo [NPP] – 6,730,413 – 51.595%
   
2. John Mahama [NDC] – 6,214,889 – 47.366%
   
3. Christian Kwabena Andrews [GUM] – 105,565 – 0.805%
   
4. Ivor Kobina Greenstreet [CPP] – 12,215 – 0.093%
   
5. David Apasera [PNC] – 10,887 – 0.082%
   
6. Alfred Kwame Asiedu Walker [Independent Candidate] – 9,703 – 0.074%
   
7. Percyval Kofi Akpaloo [LPG] – 7,690 – 0.059%
   
8. Hassan Ayariga [APC] – 7,140 – 0.054%
   
9. Brigitte Dzogbenuku [PPP] – 6,848 – 0.052%
   
10. Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings [NDP] – 6,612 – 0.050%
