The largest opposition party,National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced through their social media platforms that the party will embark on a street protest across the nation on grounds that the Electoral Commissioner, Jean Mensah announced the winner of the 2020 general elections to favour Nana Akufo Addo and the ruling party,New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The demonstration is announced without a date even as they prompt supporters to "get their boots ready".
The electoral commission of Ghana, through the Chair,Jean Mensah,on December 9,2020,announced to Ghanaian, after a long wait,that the incumbent President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwar Akufo-Addo is the winner of the 2020 general elections.
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) through their able leaders, including the flagbearer of the party,former President John Dramani Mahama,announced their displeasure in the results from the Electoral Commission and thus have rejected the results.
