The Supreme Court of the Republic of Ghana has by unanimous decision granted the Attorney General’s application to set aside the Ho High Court injunction.
The panel comprising Justices Appau, Marful Sau, Gertrude Torkonoo, Clemence Honyenuga, and Amadu Tanko decided unanimously that the application filed by the Deputy A.G, Godfred Dame to pray the Supreme Court to set the Ho High Court injunction on Amewu aside was upheld on 5- 0 unanimous decision.(Godfred Dame – 5, Tsatsu Tsikata – 0)
It seems history has repeated itself. In 1980, Tsatsu suffered a 7-0 humiliating defeat in the hands of Nana Akufo-Addo in court. Today, he’s suffered another 5-0 humiliation in the hands Nana Addo’s protégé, Godfred Yeboah Dame (a Solid Old Vandal).
In another news, the Wenchi High Court in the Bono Region this morning, dismissed NDCs application for injunction to restrain the swearing in of the MP-Elect for Techiman South.
It would be recalled that, a few days ago the Bono regional chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye disclosed that, the NDC legal team were planning to file a petition and a subsequent injunction against the MP -Elect for Techiman South Hon Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah.
